The hotel in Santiago (Principado) was very nice indeed; we were very pleased with it; good location and obliging staff. Breakfast excellent; fresh cherries on one day! In Buenos Aires (Aspen Suites Comfort) good location, but quality not quite so high, even though it was more expensive. Food and staff were OK but not outstanding.

The show was great. However, you could have helped in making our evening more enjoyable if you had given us an accurate time for the show time: you had informed me it was 9 :30 pm when it actually started at 10 :30 pm. As good restaurants only open for dinner at 8:00pm and since there are no good restaurants around Carlos Gardel, we ended up having dinner before the show at a second rate restaurant in the shopping center across the street from Carlos Gardel. If we had known the show started at 10:30, we would have had dinner at 8:00 at a good restaurant in another area of the city.

Everything went very well. The hotel (Principado Hotel, Santiago, Chile) was a fine, rooms spacious and clean. All but the male hotel manager were very friendly. The only problem we had was on checkout. We had arranged for a late checkout of 4pm in one room. When checking out the clerk at the desk attempted to charge us for the late checkout stating the rep that authorized the late checkout had made a mistake. At this point the bellman stepped in to defend us and the desk clerk did not charge us.

Our recent dealing with your company via the internet was an excellent experience. Your website was easy to use and we had a fast response from Hotel Store upon booking our accommodation. We booked the hotels 3 months in advance and when we arrived at the hotels we had chosen in Buenos Aires and Santiago, they had the correct information on our arrival times, day and month and the duration of our stay. The prices were very competitive and the hotels, their staff and the hotel locations were excellent. The coupons are an excellent way of confirmation of the bookings for us and also for the hotels upon our arrival.
We will be returning to Argentina again in a couple of years and will most definitely be using your company to book our accommodation and anything else that may be relevant at that time.

The hotel was great, in a great location. I will stay there again, the next time I go to Buenos Aires. Excellent service, great rooms, great location. Your local agent in Buenos Aires left me a nice note the second day I was there, offering local tour services. I spent the whole week just enjoying walking around the city center and reading. The only tourist things I did was to tour the Teatro Colon and to visit the Feria at San Telmo. I did catch Man of La Mancha at the Teatro Nacional, which was also enjoyable.
This is perfectly located hotel (Regis Hotel, Buenos Aires). The only thing I needed a cab for was the trip to San Telmo and to and from the airport. Everything that is Buenos Aires the capital was within easy walking distance, and the Subte was nearby if needed.
You performed a great service for me by finding that hotel. The next time I go, it will be with my wife and another couple, and we will go to Ushuaia and to Iguazu, and I will definitely contact you for the travel arrangements.

The Dazzler in Bariloche seems like a nice hotel... until the disco starts at 2AM on the street right below the rooms facing the lake. It went until about 5AM every day and was the loudest disturbance I have ever experienced at any hotel (and I travel a lot).
I was only able to change rooms after two sleepless nights, and then the room was extremely cramped with a depressing view. I was told that the rooms facing the opposite direction of the one I had were loud, also, because of the bar next to the hotel.

Everything ran smoothly, and all the hotels were great. We really love the Marriott in Buenos Aires. I think that was probably our favourite, but it could be we had very fond memories from last year and we love its location.
The Las Hayas Hotel in Ushuaia was really very good. I don’t know if you’ve stayed there yourself. Our first impressions when we arrived there were that it definitely wasn’t a 5 star hotel. However, once we settled into Ushuaia we really grew to like the place and we had a lovely stay. We did ask to change rooms after the first night as we had 3 separate beds and wanted a double for ourselves. The second room was far nicer and much brighter and spacious, so we glad we did ask! The staff there were lovely and really helpful, so no complaints there or anywhere else on that score! In fact Argentina is big on service, and we loved that.

Thanks for the reservation. It was a great hotel (Director Hotel, Santiago). Huge room with couch and two queen beds with full breakfast. It was nice. We stayed at the Hotel Best Western Art Deco (Buenos Aires) for 8 days. Great location, only 1.5 blocks from the obelisque. Went to 3 tango shows and lots of walking. Buenos Aires is dirt cheap for meals. Of course you can spend a lot also depending what you want. We really enjoyed Punta del Este also at the hotel Barradas Parque.
We will keep you in mind for the next trip.

Our plane arrived 2 hours late and the transfer driver (Oscar) was still waiting there for us. He was professional in every way and gave us a wonderful tour as he drove us to our Hotel. I highly recommend his services.
The trip to Valparaiso was with 4 other people and we ate a good meal for lunch but the waterfront restaurant was very rundown. The guide we had to Valparaiso did not speak good English and was a smoker. Our transfers were satisfactory.

Hi, thank you for remember us. Let me tell you this: Aspen Suites (Buenos Aires) is not as good us they believe themselves.
First of all the AC was off and the place felt kike a Turkish Bath. When I went to the front desk to ask about it, they said I was right, but after they call the personnel to put it on they start to treat us like crap.
On our second day there we went to the cafeteria for breakfast service at exactly 10:00 am. (According to the brochure is open till 10.30 am.
The coffee cups were dirty and at 10:15 am they started to pick everything up. To make the story short all the passengers left and went outside to get their breakfast.
The 3rd. day they had to change our rooms because the room was full of ants, and only then we found out that they had a different tower at the front of the building with clean rooms (no ants this time).
The front desk personnel are very helpful but they can not do miracles when the place is in disarray, but this is the way things work sometimes when the manager is a guy in is mid 20's and does not have the necessary experience to do this kind of work. I also know is not your fault.

Well, the star system for hotels in Argentina is apparently different than in USA. We do not blame you of course. The lobby is spotless but the rooms/bathrooms in both hotels (Castelar & Carlton Hotels, Buenos Aires) are very small, were not painted or remodeled in the last 50 years.

Everything was fine. Both hotels are very good, although I prefer the services at Dolmen (Buenos Aires) than at Emperador (Buenos Aires). Even when Dolmen is not a five stars, its services at much better (room services, housekeeping, breakfast, etc).

The room at the hotel (Hanga Roa Hotel, Isla de Pascua) was large. The decor was very tired but the room did have a sea view which was good. The staff was very good and the island as a whole was a pleasure to visit. The hotel represented the least value for money in South America, but we ere warned of that; the newly upgraded rooms are worth about US$ 100.

Hi Gunther,
We had a fabulous time in Chile and Argentina, just got back last week. As to the hotels we arranged through your company, I can honestly say that each one of them was great.
To begin, the Del Mar Hotel in Vina Del Mar, Chile is really beautiful. Great pool and beautiful accommodation. The price you got us was good for 2 nights and they gave us an ocean view room. They have a nice buffet breakfast too. Relaxing way to start our vacation.
The Sheraton Santiago (Santiago) we booked through you was also a great price, with a good breakfast. There is a lot of construction for a freeway in front of the hotel so I requested and they gave us a room in the back overlooking the Andes.
In Argentina, we booked the Villa Huinid in Bariloche for 2 nights. The cabana was very nicely appointed and of high quality construction. The staff is very helpful. The only downside is that it is right on the busy main road so it is noisy. But the view of the lake makes up for it.
The Lake Crossing from Bariloche to Puerto Montt which we booked with you was wonderful! It was the highlight of our trip because the weather was clear and we saw Volcan Osorno all day. Stunning views and scenery. Well organized trip. A very long day though. It starts at 6:00 a.m. and we didn't get to our Puerto Montt hotel until 9:00 p.m. I would definitely do this again.
In Puerto Montt the Gran Pacifico hotel was great. Because it was my birthday and the original room they had reserved for us was smoky, they placed us in their top level corner suite for no additional charge. Nice bay view and excellent staff.
In Pucon, we stayed at the lovely Antumalal hotel fro 2 nights. Again your price was excellent and the setting is so pretty. Fireplace in the room and lake view, very romantic. Very helpful staff and great food. I would definitely return again.
The last place we stayed which you booked for us, Vina Santa Rita Winery's Casa Real outside of Santiago in the Maipu Valley, was stupendous. It is like a small castle on 40 hectares of land and we were the only guests so they treated us like a king and queen. I know they are not on your web list but you were kind enough to have your agent book it for us anyway at their full price. It was well worth it. Their staff is outstanding and the grounds exquisite. Worth the splurge. Maybe you can add them to your list of offerings. I am sure your customers would like it.
So thanks to you we had a great time. I will definitely use your services again when we return to South America and recommend you to our traveling friends.

We returned today from a wonderful trip to Argentina and wanted to thank you for your assistance with accommodations in Buanos Aires and Bariloche. While the Hotel Tres Reyes (Bariloche) initially said they could not accommodate a change in dates, due to airline problems, they did in fact advise on our arrival that they would allow us to stay the full three days for which we had prepaid. So all worked out well and in the end we were able to spend a total of two extra days in Patagonia.

We did not run into any problems. All the hotels work out great. There are so many websites and I'm so glad I've found yours. Your website provides great links; the person who designed it really did a great job. If I may add one thing that would help independent travelers like myself, it would be additional information on transportation. For example, links to major airline and bus company websites and tips on how to buy Argentina internal airplane tickets on line (it's tricky and one never really knows if it works or not).

Gunther, everything went fine. The pick-up at the airport was not the greatest, but not the worst either. The guy from St. Martin travel was distressed that we were unhappy so he came himself to take us back to the airport at the end and we had a nice chat with him. The hotel (Cataratas, Iguazú) was fine - very attractive, helpful staff and good restaurant - and we adored Iguazu Falls. It all worked out perfectly and I would be happy to recommend you and your services to anyone I know going down there. We went to look at the Brazilian Cataratas just for the hell of it. The hotel itself did not strike me as that great, but oh, that location with the falls right outside the door. Thanks again for all your help.

We were very satisfied with the hotel (Gran Hotel de la Paix, Buenos Aires) and the location. The price was great, but the hotel was even better. The staff was helpful, pleasant, very clean place, totally adequate room. I hope you will promote them as it is well deserved. Liked the fact that many Europeans there as well, since we are from San Francisco.
Your organization gets high marks as well. Very responsive and prompt at the front end and now this follow up. In contrast some of the hotels that I contacted directly had a very weak response.

We just returned from our trip and we had a lovely time.
Bariloche was as beautiful as I remembered. The Panamericano Hotel, regardless of its five star rating, was not so good. Our main complaint would be that the hotel desperately needs renovating, most of all it needs new carpeting all around. The current carpet in rooms and halls not only looks grungy but smells down right bad in many areas. This gives a somewhat sad and unpleasant aspect to the entire hotel.
Other than that, it is well located and we had no trouble finding transportation to and from Cerro Catedral, the skiing mountain.
Once more, thank you very much for your services, I know it was hard to find accommodations for us during the season peak time.

I have no complaints about the hotel (Etoile, Buenos Aires), it's staff and service. All exceeded my expectations. That included Buenos Aires. If things here go according to my plans, I will be returning to Buenos Aires for a three to six months stay.
