Rural Tourism - Central Region
This area extends over the provinces of Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Santa Fe. Buenos Aires, the main doorway to the country, is a stunning and bustling metropolis. A few kilometers away from the crowded outskirts, the cities give way to the pampas, a fertile plain area in Buenos Aires province whose extension compares with the wide estuary of the River Plate. This region, characterized by its mild climate and without a dry season, extends to cover Santa Fe and part of Córdoba. The southern area of Buenos Aires boasts a breathtaking orographic system, where the ancient rocks emerge as hills, thus contributing to form an especially charming scenery. Córdoba offers mild climate, gorgeous mountainous ranges scattered with valleys, high pampas, brooks, lakes and springs as well as tranquil towns and a rich, well-preserved cultural heritage. In here, tourists can choose whether to perform rural duties at specialized establishments (milking, sowing, harvesting, etc.) or sporting and recreational activities (horseback riding, hunting, table games, polo, golf, pato, among others), or ecotourism and cultural activities.
