Tierra del Fuego - Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego

Created in 1960, this unit, which is embraced by the sea, comprises the southernmost section of the Andean-Patagonian forest.

Its mountainous topography presents typical glacial scenery characterized by deep valleys traversed by rivers and dotted with lakes, and mountain ranges running from north-east to south-east. The seashore forms Bahia Lapataia and Ensenada, where cliffs and small beaches combine to make this the perfect environment for coastal birds.
