Ushuaia

Ushuaia is just over 2,000 miles south of Buenos Aires and the capital of Tierra Del Fuego Province and has a population of around 30,000. It overlooks the Beagle Channel and is the World's southernmost city. In summer it has a lot to offer the tourist with area tours, horseback riding, sport fishing and mountain bike. You can cruise the Beagle Channel in catamarans or sailing boats which will take you to Cape Horn and the Antarctic Continent. In winter (May to September) there is nearby skiing either downhill (15 minutes for the city) or cross country.
