Province Mendoza
Ver página em Português | Ver página en Español
The transition between the eastern arid region and the western mountains and glaciers, jointly with its natural beauties and vineyards, make Mendoza a privileged tourist center.
Its namesake capital city is traversed by acequias or irrigation canals and framed by several parks and plazas. Numerous vineyards and wineries are scattered about the Andean region, creating the province's typical landscape. The importance of the wine industry reaches its zenith at the annual Fiesta de la Vendimia (Wine Harvest Festival), held in the city of Mendoza in March.
