Province La Pampa
Ver página em Português | Ver página en Español
Even though this inland province has neither beaches nor ski resorts, it is characterized by a specialized kind of tourist, keen to learn about the indigenous flora and fauna, in some cases, or to practice sports like big game hunting, in others.
Those interested in the former aspect may like to know that La Pampa is home to the Parque Luro reserve, which is located at less than 40 miles (60 km) from the provincial capital, Santa Rosa, and which boasts a fabulous array of native animal and vegetable species.

This National Park was created in 1977 in order to preserve the namesake hill range and its unique historical, cultural and natural treasures.
Situated in the center-south of La Pampa province, in the department of Lihué Calel, it currently covers 9,901 hectares.
The Lihué Calel mountain range reaches 589 meters above sea level, with gentle slopes facing north and steep ones facing south.
