Córdoba is the second most important tourist attraction in the country for its striking combination of mountain scenery, waterways and reservoirs.
Being located almost in its geographical center, Cordoba city - its capital - makes an ideal base from which travelers may then visit other regions in the mountains.
Besides its colonial and religious buildings, among the city's outstanding tourist attractions we can mention the Manzana y Estancias Jesuíticas (Jesuit Block and Estancias), located in the city of Cordoba and surrounding areas, which have been designated as World Heritage sites by UNESCO.

Fishing Activities
The rivers near Villa General Belgrano, Pampa de Achala, the Quebrada de los Condoritos as well as the Panaholma river teem with trout, especially fontinalis and rainbow trout. Brown trout and salmon have also been planted, even though these species prefer brooks and rivers to lakes.
